To commemorate the valor and sacrifice of Indian soldiers on Kargil Vijay Diwas, the NSS Unit of Government Degree College Basohli organized a Poster Making Competition on 26th July 2025. The event was held under the guidance of Sh. Roshan Lal, NSS Programme Officer, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers who showcased their creativity and patriotic spirit through thought-provoking posters.

The competition served as a tribute to the heroes of the Kargil War and aimed to instill a sense of pride, nationalism, and awareness among the students. The posters reflected themes of bravery, sacrifice, and unity, highlighting the importance of remembering and honoring the contributions of our armed forces.

Dr. Sunil Gupta, Principal, GDC Basohli, addressed the gathering and appreciated the commendable efforts of the NSS volunteers. He lauded their artistic expression and dedication towards national causes, encouraging them to continue contributing positively to society through such meaningful activities.

The program was graced by the presence of college faculty members, including Prof. Jasvinder Singh, Dr. Ravinder Kaur, Dr. Shubh Kumar, Dr. Suraya Partap Singh, Prof. Rajesh, Dr. Verinder Singh, Dr. Neha Bandhral, Dr. Vaishno Devi, Dr. Ujhala Devi, Prof. Davinder Kumar, Dr. Megha, and others, who applauded the efforts of the participants and contributed to the success of the event with their presence and encouragement.
